CDCompany and CDCrew Mission
The CDCompany & CDCrew programs empower students with a competitive edge, providing them with the tools and connections necessary to develop as artists, performers, and well-rounded individuals. We believe arts education ignites the creativity, self-confidence and discipline that can lead to exception leaders. While CDCompany & CDCrew dancers compete at regional events, well-rounded and high caliber training are the main focus of this program, thus technique classes are separate from rehearsal time. Our dancers develop confidence, self-determination, team building, time management and commitment skills that carry with them throughout their lives to pursue any dreams they may have. Regardless of the dancer’s goal, CDC is committed to the success of each individual student.
CDCompany and CDCrew Tracks
Mini Track
For those dancers just starting their competition career and who are interested in furthering their dance training in a
variety of dance styles, this program enables them to gain experience in training and competing. Dancers who join
CDCompany / CDCrew as Minis experience a consistent training approach throughout their competitive dance career and accelerate their trajectory toward participation at the highest level. Mini dancers learn and compete three routines: one jazz, one hip hop, and one tap dance at multiple regional competitions and conventions. Mini dancers participate in two competitions as well as two (2) conventions (training and competing) with the Convention track. Ages 7-8

Connect Track
For those dancers who are interested in furthering their dance training in a variety of dance styles, this program enables them to gain experience in training and competing. Connect is ideal for those dancers/families transitioning to being part of a dance team, offering them preparation and time needed to be successful as they begin their competition/convention experience. All Connect dancers learn and compete two routines: one jazz or contemporary dance and one hip hop dance. Connect members may also choose to add an optional tap dance. Ages 9-14

Competition Track
Members of the Competition Track are passionate about training and performing and compete mostly at regional dance competitions. These competitions sort entries into novice, intermediate and advanced divisions, so dancers in Competition Track are set up for success, competing against others at their level. In addition, Competition Track dancers will also attend one convention and are encouraged to attend optional conventions to further their dance training. These dancers train at an increased level from the Connect track, in addition to rehearsing dances. Dancers train in a multitude of styles, including ballet, contemporary, jazz, and hip hop, from CDC’s esteemed faculty. Our program is designed to create high caliber dancers that are well versed in all styles, making them well rounded artists. Ages 9-18
Convention Track
Members of the Convention Track are serious about their dance training and prepare to compete at the highest caliber events in the nation, with a focus on conventions where dancers gain additional training from top industry professionals. When competing at conventions, routines are not separated by level of experience, so all dances are judged equally, creating a much more challenging competition. Dancers train a minimum of 7 hours per week in addition to rehearsing dances. Dancers train in a multitude of styles, including contemporary, jazz, and hip hop, from CDC’s esteemed faculty as well as guest artists. Our program is designed to create high caliber dancers that are well versed in all styles, making them well rounded artists. Ages 9-18.
