All Stars
The CDC All Stars was created to give Middle School and High School students a chance to perform on a dance team style team.
Dancers ages 12-17 audition in June for the following dance year. The award winning All Stars compete precision based Jazz and Poms as well as Hip Hop. Routines are based on the UDA (Universal Dance Association) and NDA (National Dance Association) high school dance team style. It is the high energy entertaining style of dance seen during football and basketball half time shows.
The CDC All Stars practice two days per week, about four hours total, at the Chantilly studio. They perform in approximately three competitions per year as well as the spring recital. Their teacher and director, Ms. Rebecca Green, brings with her years of experience in teaching and choreographing this dance style.
CDC Stars is a competitive dance program at Creative Dance Center offering classes and co-ed teams in jazz, hip hop, and pom. We offer teams for dancers age 8-18! Youth, Junior, and Senior level teams. Ashburn CDC Stars compete locally and nationally in the All Star circuit. Our Senior Level teams compete to obtain a Bid to the prestigious All Star Worlds Championships in Orlando Florida. CDC Stars instructors are All Star industry professionals with experience in all aspects of performance, and offer the most current competitive choreography and styles in hip hop and contemporary jazz. We provide excellent technical training focusing on the individual dancer and their goals of dancing with teams in college and professionally. Dancers from our programs have gone on to dance teams at Alabama, Virginia Tech, UVA, Auburn, JMU, George Mason, UNC, Elon, Duke, Washington Wizards, Redskinettes, Red Rockers, Culture Shock, and more!
